Project stage lines without vocal strain
When to use this goal
For students on a voice plan who act or present on stage and push from the throat to be heard. Base the choice on the voice evaluation and the director's input. Microphone use, when available, is a fine option and can be part of the plan.
- Baseline
- Score one rehearsal of a scene from the back of the room. Record the student's voice before and after if the plan uses recordings.
- Tips
- Score each row 0 to 2 from the back of the room. Pair with sl-voi-022 for warm-ups. Coordinate with the director about microphones.
- Limits
- Scores depend on room acoustics. Rehearsal and performance seasons limit data collection.
