A drafting and documentation aid, not professional advice
IEP Atlas provides example goal templates, drafting tools, blank forms, and a caseload workspace. Its content is general information. It doesn't determine what any student needs, and it isn't legal, clinical, medical, or educational advice. You and your IEP team are responsible for every goal, schedule, data point, and report you use. IEP Atlas doesn't guarantee that any output meets federal, state, district, or Medicaid requirements.
Acceptable use
- Use IEP Atlas only if you are an adult. It isn't for students or children.
- In the goal builder, checker, and data sheets, don't enter personally identifiable student information. Use a generic label.
- In the workspace, you may enter student data only if you have the authority to do so, including any permission your school or district requires for third-party tools, and you agree to follow your district's policies on student records.
- Enter the minimum data needed. Don't use the workspace on a shared computer you don't control without clearing it afterward.
- You may copy, adapt, and print goals, sheets, and reports for your own professional use and for the students and families you serve.
- Don't republish the template library in bulk or resell it.
- Don't share an account, try to disrupt the service, or try to access other users' data.
The workspace
- Local mode stores workspace data only on your device. IEP Atlas has no copy and can't recover it. You are responsible for backups.
- Cloud mode (an IEP Atlas Pro feature you turn on) stores workspace data on our servers so it can sync between your devices. The Student Data Privacy Agreement is incorporated into these terms by reference and governs how we handle that data. If it conflicts with these terms on student data, it controls.
- Medicaid-oriented service logs and reports are support documents built from your own entries. They are not claims, are not reviewed by IEP Atlas, and don't establish eligibility or reimbursement. Your district's billing procedures and consent requirements apply.
- Deadline, service-minute, and progress calculations use the settings you choose. Check them against your state and district rules.
IEP Atlas Pro
- Pro is a subscription billed monthly ($9 per month) or annually ($79 per year), in US dollars, through Square at the price shown at checkout. Prices may change for future terms with notice.
- It renews automatically each year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account's billing page and keep access until the end of the paid period.
- If Pro isn't useful to you, email us within 14 days of a new or renewed annual charge and we'll refund it in full. Monthly charges aren't refunded; when you cancel a monthly plan, access continues to the end of the month you paid for.
- If a payment fails, Square will notify you and retry. If the subscription lapses, cloud sync pauses and saved items stay available to export for at least 90 days before deletion. Your local workspace is unaffected.
- All free features, including the full workspace on one device, stay free.
Your content
You own what you enter. You give IEP Atlas only the limited permission needed to store, sync, and display it to you and to produce the exports you request. We don't use it for advertising or to train models.
Availability, changes, and limits
We work to keep IEP Atlas available but can't promise uninterrupted service, and we may change or retire features with notice. To the extent permitted by law, IEP Atlas is provided as is, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits the obligations we take on in the Student Data Privacy Agreement. If we update these terms, we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
