Plan writing in a digital graphic organizer
When to use this goal
For students who struggle to organize ideas on paper and do better with a digital organizer they can rearrange, with audio and pictures. Present levels in planning and writing decide fit.
- Baseline
- Track planning tasks for a month: organizer completed, partly done, or skipped. Compare with paper organizers.
- Tips
- A completed organizer has every box filled with the student's own ideas. Quality of the plan belongs in paragraph organization goals.
- Limits
- Completing an organizer does not guarantee a good draft. The AT specialist and team choose the tool from an AT assessment and trial data; the template measures what the student does with it, not the tool's quality.
