Complete a multi-step direction on the class platform
When to use this goal
For students whose present levels show digital tasks (open the assignment, complete it, attach the file, submit) end after the first step. Fits classes using a learning platform.
- Baseline
- Review the last several digital tasks on the platform: which step was last completed? Many students stop before attaching or submitting. Confirm the student can navigate the platform; if not, that is the first lesson.
- Tips
- Each multi-step digital task is one opportunity. Met means every step is done and the platform shows the work submitted. Keep the step list wording the same as the platform's button labels so the list maps to the screen.
- Limits
- Platform changes break step lists; update them. Does not measure the quality of the work.

Goal
By the annual IEP review date, when given a three- to four-step direction for a digital assignment (open, complete, attach, submit), the student will complete every step of the digital direction in order so the work is submitted independently in at least 4 of 5 opportunities, across 3 consecutive weekly probes, as measured by opportunity-by-opportunity data collected weekly.

- Record up to 5 opportunities per session, matching the goal's denominator.
- Define in advance what counts as an opportunity so every data collector records the same thing.
- Count only + marks toward the criterion unless the goal specifies prompted responses.
