Pack the gym bag from a checklist
When to use this goal
For students who miss PE, practices, or club activities because clothes, shoes, or gear are left at home or in the locker. The family and student agree on the list. Present levels, not grade, decide fit.
- Baseline
- Track two weeks of PE or activity days: whether the student had everything, and what was missing. The PE teacher's records of dress-outs give a ready baseline.
- Tips
- Steps done at home are checked by the student or family; at school the PE teacher checks what arrived. Keep a spare set at school if the family wants one while the routine builds. Adjust items to the activity.
- Limits
- Home steps rely on self-report. Does not measure locker room routines like changing in time.
