Find key facts in a job posting

9-12Percent accuracyTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For older students starting a job search who cannot find the hours, pay, location, or how to apply in a posting. Present levels in reading short paragraphs and lists decide fit; postings can be simplified, read aloud, or used as written.

Baseline
Use 4 postings with 5 questions each (title, hours, pay, location, how to apply). Note which facts are missed; pay written as a range or as per hour is a common trouble spot.
Tips
Use real postings for jobs the student is interested in. Teach the words postings use (part-time, shift, entry-level, apply online). Pair with fn-fa-051 so the student decides whether the job fits.
Limits
Postings change daily; save copies for probes. Does not measure applying.

Original IEP Atlas template based on general measurement principles; not copied from any goal bank. ID fn-fa-050.

Goal

By the annual IEP review date, given 4 real job postings for entry-level jobs and 5 questions about each, the student will find the job title, hours, pay, location, and how to apply in each posting independently with at least 80% accuracy on job posting questions, in 3 of 4 consecutive biweekly probes, as measured by work-sample analysis collected every two weeks.

Baseline: 30% accuracy.
