Complete a one-page resume from a template
When to use this goal
For students who have had a school job, volunteer role, or class project and are ready to put experiences into a resume with a template. Present levels in writing and keyboarding decide the support; the content comes from the student's real experiences.
- Baseline
- Score the student's first attempt with the template. Note how much of the content the student could recall without a list of experiences; recalling own history is often the hardest part.
- Tips
- Use a real template in a format the student can edit later. Keep personal information private: the resume stays in the student's school account or folder. Update it after each new school job or volunteer role so the goal has repeated opportunities.
- Limits
- Scores the document, not whether it leads to a job. Students with no experiences yet need a school job or volunteer role before this goal makes sense.
