6-8, 9-12Percent accuracyTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For students who meet 24-hour times on transit schedules, phones, work schedules or in health settings. Present levels in a.m. and p.m. and subtracting 12 decide readiness.

Baseline
Include 00:30, 12:00 and times with a leading zero.
Tips
Use the schedules the student will meet. Changing a phone setting is a real-world option the team can discuss.
Limits
Not needed in every community; check before writing the goal.

Goal

By the annual IEP review date, given 10 times in 24-hour form, such as 14:30 and 07:05, the student will label each time a.m. or p.m. and write it in 12-hour form independently with at least 90% accuracy on 24-hour times, on 3 of 4 consecutive probes, as measured by work-sample analysis collected every two weeks.

Baseline: 30% accuracy.

  • Met: Explicit criterion. Number and unit stated.

  • Met: Mastery rule and schedule. Both stated.

  • Met: Method produces the metric. Work-sample analysis gives percent accuracy data.

  • Met: Review timeframe. Stated.

  • Met: Baseline and target compatible. Same unit, change in the right direction.

  • Met: Aligned with area of need. Still about Measurement, Time & Money.
