Interview by video call
When to use this goal
For students applying to employers that screen by video and who have used video calls only socially. Present levels in device use decide whether the student sets up the call alone.
- Baseline
- Run one practice call with no checklist and mark each step. Note technical steps separately from conversational ones; they need different practice.
- Tips
- Use the platforms local employers use. Answer quality is scored with fn-tr-010 or tn-js-011; this template covers the video routine. Students who use AAC can share their device audio; test it ahead.
- Limits
- Home internet and devices vary; the student should not be marked down for equipment they do not have. Practice calls may feel easier than real ones.
