Review subscriptions and cancel an unused one
When to use this goal
For students paying for apps, games, or streaming who have forgotten some of them. Needs reading a bank or app store list of charges; present levels decide fit, not grade.
- Baseline
- Run the routine at least 3 times with the same materials before setting a target. Mark each step independent, prompted (note the prompt), or not done, and count only independent steps. Practice uses sample documents and practice or demo accounts only; the student's real PIN, passwords, and account numbers are never used or written down at school.
- Tips
- The student decides what to keep. Free trials that turn into charges are a good add-on lesson.
- Limits
- Cancel flows are sometimes made hard on purpose; teach asking for help when a cancel button is hidden.
