Fix typing errors while typing
When to use this goal
For students who leave typos or delete whole lines to fix one letter. Present levels in using backspace, arrow keys, and selection decide fit.
- Baseline
- Use a paragraph with 10 known errors and record how many are fixed and how (targeted fix or retyping).
- Tips
- The denominator is the number of errors. Spell check helps find errors; this goal is about fixing them efficiently.
- Limits
- Finding errors is a separate skill; errors are marked here.

- Score only items the student attempted unless the goal defines a fixed set of items. Use the same denominator every session.
- Percent = numerator ÷ denominator × 100. Round to one decimal place.
- Record the support actually provided, even if the goal is independent performance.
