Reach the daily CICO point goal
When to use this goal
For students on a CICO plan whose point sheet rates the school-wide expectations (safe, respectful, responsible) across the day's periods, and who earn well below the plan's daily goal. Fit depends on CICO data, not grade. The rows must match the school's posted expectations.
- Baseline
- Use 10 days of point sheets for the baseline and graph the daily total. Before setting the target, have teachers agree on what earns 0, 1, and 2 for each row with a short example list, or the scores will mean different things in each class.
- Tips
- Set the first daily goal a little above baseline so the student can succeed in week one, and raise it as the graph climbs. Pair with bh-cls-032 for the routine. This is the school-wide version; for teacher-chosen targets see the daily behavior report card in bh-cls-022.
- Limits
- Teacher ratings are subjective; check agreement by having two adults rate the same period now and then. Points can drift up if teachers feel pressure to be kind; look at incident data too.
