Make a change suggested by a peer reviewer

6-8, 3-5, 9-12OpportunitiesTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For students who accept teacher feedback but reject peer suggestions on drafts or projects out of hand. Fits classes with structured peer review. Present levels decide the number of suggestions expected per review.

Baseline
Compare drafts before and after three or four peer reviews and record whether any peer suggestion was used. Ask the student why a suggestion was not used; a reasoned refusal is different from not considering it.
Tips
Each peer review is one opportunity; met means at least one peer suggestion used and marked. The student keeps authority over their work by choosing which suggestion; that choice is part of the skill. Make sure peers are trained to give specific suggestions.
Limits
Peer suggestions vary in quality; a weak suggestion is fair to decline with a reason. Does not measure the quality of the revision.

Goal

By the annual IEP review date, after a structured peer review of a draft or project, with the peer's written suggestions, the student will choose at least one peer suggestion, make that change in the draft, and mark it independently in at least 4 of 5 opportunities, on 4 of 5 consecutive peer reviews, as measured by opportunity-by-opportunity data collected each peer review.
