Enter due dates on a monthly calendar when they are announced
When to use this goal
For students whose present levels show surprise at due dates that were announced weeks earlier. For students who already record daily homework; this adds the long view.
- Baseline
- Ask teachers for the dates announced in the last two weeks and compare with the student's calendar. Record how many were entered, entered wrong, or missing. Confirm the student has a calendar format they can use (paper or digital).
- Tips
- Each announced date is one opportunity. Met means the right date and a recognizable assignment name are on the calendar by the end of that school day. A digital calendar with notifications counts if the student enters it themselves. Pair with ef-pl-002 for weekly planning from the calendar.
- Limits
- Depends on teachers announcing dates clearly and the case manager knowing what was announced. Entering a date does not mean work gets planned around it.

- Record up to 5 opportunities per session, matching the goal's denominator.
- Define in advance what counts as an opportunity so every data collector records the same thing.
- Count only + marks toward the criterion unless the goal specifies prompted responses.
