Check the learning platform for posted assignments

6-8, 9-12OpportunitiesTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For students whose teachers post assignments online and who miss work because they never open the platform unless told to. Base the choice on present levels in device use and reading and a check that teachers post consistently.

Baseline
For 2 weeks, record each day whether the student opened the platform during the set time without a reminder and could state one assignment that was posted. Check platform login logs if the school allows it to confirm the observation.
Tips
Agree on one set time each day so the check becomes a routine. The second behavior option adds planner transfer; use it when the student already opens the platform but does not act on what is posted. Teachers must post reliably for this goal to be fair.
Limits
Opening the platform is not the same as completing the work; pair with an assignment-completion goal when needed. Platform outages and missing posts should be noted rather than scored.

  • Met: Observable behavior. Stated as an action.

  • Met: Condition. Stated.

  • Met: Unit fits the behavior. Opportunities fits this behavior.

  • Met: Explicit criterion. Number and unit stated.

  • Met: Mastery rule and schedule. Both stated.

  • Met: Method produces the metric. Direct observation gives opportunities data.

  • Met: Review timeframe. Stated.

  • Met: Baseline and target compatible. Same unit, change in the right direction.

  • Met: Aligned with area of need. Still about School-Related Independence.

  • Met: Level of support. Defined.

  • Met: Blanks filled in. Nothing left to fill in.
