Ask privately for period supplies or nurse help

6-8, 9-12OpportunitiesTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For middle and high school students who run out of supplies or need a nurse visit during their period but stay silent, which can lead to leaks, missed class, or staying home. Base the choice on the student's and family's report. The student chooses the words, the signal, and the adult.

Baseline
With the nurse, ask the student and family how often a need came up in the past two months and what happened. Opportunities come from the student's own report and the nurse's log; keep the review private and judgment-free.
Tips
Every adult in the plan knows the agreed words or card and responds without questions. Keep supplies in the nurse's office and one other private place the student chooses. Score each need as met when the student asked before a leak or before leaving class for long.
Limits
Relies on the student's honest report, which depends on trust; never treat a missed ask as a failure. Pain or heavy bleeding is a health matter for the nurse and family.
