Pick a club or class tied to interests

6-8OpportunitiesTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For middle school students who choose activities only when told to, or not at all, and who will benefit from experiences tied to their interests. Present levels in communication decide whether choices are shown with photos.

Baseline
Use the next 5 sign-up or planning moments. Record whether the student chose without an adult picking and whether the reason connects to an interest.
Tips
Follow through so the student actually joins; a choice that never happens teaches nothing. Activities give real experiences for later career and transition planning.
Limits
Options depend on the school. Measures choosing, not taking part over time.
