Do bodyweight squats with safe form
When to use this goal
For secondary students in fitness or weight training classes whose squats show knees caving in, heels lifting, or a rounded back, which raises injury risk as loads get heavier. Fit depends on form scoring, not grade.
- Baseline
- Score a set of 10 squats from the side and front views. Note fatigue; form often breaks in the last few repetitions.
- Tips
- Teach form before adding weight. Pair with mt-pe-013 for the weight room circuit. The same form protects the back in job lifting (mt-gm-049).
- Limits
- Not for students with knee or back restrictions without PT input.
