Describe the norms of a new club

9-12Rubric scoreTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For high school students entering new settings (a new class, club, team, or college visit) who want to know what the group expects. Present levels decide fit. The student decides which norms to follow, ask about, or skip; the goal is never to make them hide who they are.

Baseline
Score one description of a current group on the rubric before the student starts a new one.
Tips
Respect the student's choices about which norms matter to them. Pair with self-advocacy for accommodations in new settings.
Limits
Norms change over time. The goal does not measure how the student acts in the group.
