Share table supplies with group members
When to use this goal
For young students who gather shared supplies in front of themselves, grab from peers, or refuse to hand over a shared caddy item. Present levels decide fit. Sharing includes passing, taking turns, or saying "when I'm done" and then passing.
- Baseline
- During 3 table work periods, record each time a peer asked for or needed a shared supply the student had, and the student's response. Check whether there are enough supplies; shortages make sharing harder for everyone.
- Tips
- An opportunity is a peer request or a clear need for a supply the student holds. Passing it, or saying when they will pass it and doing so, counts. Give the student a personal set of the one or two items they most need so sharing is about the rest.
- Limits
- Peer behavior shapes the count; a peer who grabs creates a conflict, not a sharing chance. The goal does not cover sharing personal belongings, which the student can decline.

Goal
By the annual IEP review date, during table work with one shared supply caddy for the group, the student will pass a shared supply to a group member who asks, or say "when I'm done" and pass it after finishing independently in at least 5 of 6 opportunities, on 4 of 5 observed days, as measured by opportunity-by-opportunity data collected daily during table work.

- Record up to 6 opportunities per session, matching the goal's denominator.
- Define in advance what counts as an opportunity so every data collector records the same thing.
- Count only + marks toward the criterion unless the goal specifies prompted responses.
