Work alongside club members on a shared activity

When to use this goal

For students who join a club but leave early, sit apart, or spend the meeting on their own device. Present levels and the student's sensory and regulation needs decide fit. Working alongside means being part of the club's shared activity; quiet participation counts.

Baseline
Time how long the student stays with the group during the shared activity in 2 or 3 meetings. Note what happened before leaving: noise, a change in task, social pressure, or a need for a break.
Tips
A planned break with a return pauses the clock instead of stopping it. Use the student's own choice of club. Adjust seating and noise first. This goal is about access to a peer space, not a test of endurance.
Limits
Club activities change from week to week; note the activity. Duration does not show interaction; pair with the club question goal if talking is a priority.
