Practice "th" words in a home game

K-2, 3-5OpportunitiesTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For students who produce "th" correctly in words in therapy and whose family is able to run a short practice game at home. Base the choice on therapy data and on what the family says is realistic each week.

Baseline
Send the game home for one week before setting a target, with a short video of how to score it. Check the log with the family to make sure everyone scores the same way.
Tips
Keep the home game short and fun. Ask families to mark only first tries, so the log shows what the student does without help.
Limits
Family scoring is less exact than the SLP's, so treat home data as a carryover check, not the main measure. Never make home practice a condition of the goal; schedules differ.

Goal

By the annual IEP review date, during a 5-minute home card game with 10 "th" word cards, logged by a family member, the student will say each "th" word with the tongue forward on the first try independently in at least 8 of 10 opportunities, on 4 of 5 logged home sessions, as measured by opportunity-by-opportunity data collected weekly, from the family log.
