Tell a server a meal order

3-5, 6-8OpportunitiesTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For elementary students whose family or teacher orders for them at restaurants. The order can be spoken, signed, shown on a picture menu, or played on an AAC device; present levels in communication decide the mode, not grade.

Baseline
Record 5 ordering chances, including practice with a staff member as server. Score correct when the server gets the student's full order from the student.
Tips
Let the student choose the meal before the outing. Any mode the student uses counts; this is not a speech goal.
Limits
Busy servers may speak to the adult instead; adults can redirect with a glance at the student. Paying is a separate step.
