Map a career ladder from entry level up

When to use this goal

For high school students who think of a career as one job and do not see how people start at entry level and move up. Present levels in reading and planning decide whether the ladder facts are found or given.

Baseline
Score one ladder with only the template. Students often list jobs in the right area but the wrong order; the order row shows this.
Tips
Health care, food service, construction and retail have clear ladders and many entry-level jobs. Connect the starting point to the student's work-based learning options.
Limits
Real careers rarely move in straight lines. Ladder facts differ by employer and region.
