Start laundry on the scheduled laundry day

9-12OpportunitiesTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For students who can run a load of laundry but only do it when a family member says so or when they run out of clothes. Fits once the washing routine is in place; present levels in using a calendar or phone decide fit, not grade.

Baseline
Track 4 or 5 laundry days before setting the target. The family or program records whether the load was started that day and what prompt, if any, came first.
Tips
Let the student choose the day and time; a day with free time works better than a busy one. Families can record with a quick text or a photo of the running machine.
Limits
Relies on family or staff reports from home. Does not measure the quality of the laundry routine itself.
