Deposit a check with a banking app
When to use this goal
For young adults who get paper checks (a paycheck, a gift, a refund) and have a bank account with mobile deposit. Needs taking clear photos with a phone; present levels decide fit, not grade.
- Baseline
- Run the routine at least 3 times with the same materials before setting a target. Mark each step independent, prompted (note the prompt), or not done, and count only independent steps. Practice uses sample documents and practice or demo accounts only; the student's real PIN, passwords, and account numbers are never used or written down at school.
- Tips
- Many banks offer demo videos or practice screens; screenshots of the student's own bank app work best for the guide.
- Limits
- Banks set their own deposit limits and hold times. Real deposits happen only with the family's agreement. Practice uses sample documents and practice or demo accounts only; the student's real PIN, passwords, and account numbers are never used or written down at school.
