Find scholarships that fit own profile
When to use this goal
For students planning on college or training who assume they will not qualify for scholarships or do not know where to look. Present levels in web searching and reading eligibility rules decide supports.
- Baseline
- Score one tracker with the search tool only. Note scholarships listed that the student is not eligible for; reading eligibility rules is often the gap.
- Tips
- Include local scholarships (community groups, employers) and ones for students with disabilities when the student wants them. Teach the student to avoid sites that charge a fee.
- Limits
- Finding scholarships is not applying for them. Eligibility rules vary and can be hard to read.
