Track own grades on the course site weekly

9-12OpportunitiesTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For college-bound students who learn about a failing grade only at the end of the term. Present levels in reading grade reports decide whether a grade tracking sheet is used.

Baseline
Each week is one opportunity. For 5 weeks, record whether the student checked grades on their own, recorded missing work and named an action.
Tips
Practice in high school gradebooks before college. Actions can be emailing the instructor (tn-pse-012), going to office hours (tn-pse-013) or tutoring (tn-pse-024).
Limits
Depends on instructors updating grades. Checking grades does not mean the action gets done.

Goal

By the annual IEP review date, each week of a dual enrollment, college or college-style course, using the course site's grade page and a grade tracker, the student will check own grade, record missing work and write one action for any missing or low item independently in at least 4 of 5 opportunities, for 3 consecutive five-week periods, as measured by opportunity-by-opportunity data collected weekly.
