Share materials with the interpreter ahead of time

6-8, 9-12OpportunitiesTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For middle and high school students who use an interpreter and can take part in preparing for presentations, labs, and new units. Present levels in organization and self-advocacy decide fit.

Baseline
List upcoming events that need preparation and record who shared the materials.
Tips
This mirrors how Deaf adults work with interpreters at college and work. Teachers still share materials too.
Limits
ASL is a complete language; this template measures one access or language skill, and the student's broader language goals belong in expressive and receptive language with sign as the mode.

Original IEP Atlas template based on general measurement principles; not copied from any goal bank. ID ac-sig-019.
