Draft a timeline for a class event
When to use this goal
For students on a planning committee for a class event, fundraiser, or club activity who need to plan tasks, people, and dates. Present levels, not grade, decide the event size.
- Baseline
- Ask the student to plan a small event (a class party, a bake sale) with a blank page and score it.
- Tips
- Real events give real stakes. Pair with group work goals. Events also count for leadership on transition plans.
- Limits
- Events are few; mini events can be planned for practice. Does not score how the event goes.
