Enter a lunch PIN at the cafeteria register

When to use this goal

For students who go through the lunch line but stop at the register while staff look up their account. Present levels in reading or matching numbers decide fit. The PIN is private; keep the student's card or prompt where others cannot see it.

Baseline
Record 10 lunches: did the student enter the correct PIN at the register without staff help. Ask cafeteria staff how the account is usually found; some schools use cards or name lookup, which changes the task.
Tips
Teach at a practice keypad first, then the real register at quieter times. Tell cafeteria staff the plan so they wait. A student who cannot read numbers can match the card digit by digit.
Limits
Schools that use scanners or name lookup have no PIN step; write a different checkout step instead. Does not measure choosing the meal.
