Rinse own dishes after each meal

6-8, 3-5OpportunitiesTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For students who leave their plate and cup on the table after eating at home or in the life-skills room. The goal is the habit of clearing and rinsing their own dishes. Present levels and observation of the chore in a real setting, not grade or age, decide whether this template fits.

Baseline
For two weeks, log 5 meals a week at school or home and whether the student cleared and rinsed without a reminder. Agree with the family which meals they will log.
Tips
Pick 5 meals a week to log so the data stay manageable. Breakable dishes are fine for most students; use plastic at first if dropping is a worry. Pair with a dishwasher-loading goal if the student is ready.
Limits
Home data rely on the family. Does not measure washing dishes by hand.
