Bag customer purchases by store rules

When to use this goal

For students in grocery or retail placements who bag items but crush soft goods, overfill bags or mix cold and household items. Present levels in sorting and judgment decide whether a bagging rules card is used.

Baseline
Score 5 orders per shift for 2 shifts. An order counts when every bagging rule on the card is met.
Tips
Use the store's own rules. Customers may ask for things their own way; following the customer's request counts as correct.
Limits
Order size and rush periods change difficulty. Does not score talking with customers.

Goal

By the annual IEP review date, during a grocery shift at the register, bagging each customer's order, the student will bag each order so heavy items are on the bottom, cold and chemical items are separate and bags are not overfilled independently in at least 4 of 5 opportunities, across 3 consecutive shifts, as measured by direct observation collected at each shift, scoring five orders.

Baseline: 2 of 5 opportunities.
