Put daily events in time order
When to use this goal
For young students who do not yet use time words (morning, afternoon, before, after) to order events, which comes before reading clocks and schedules. Present levels in following a picture schedule decide readiness.
- Baseline
- Use photos of the student's real routine. Record which time words the student understands and uses.
- Tips
- Accept speech, sign, pointing or device. Link to the class picture schedule so practice happens daily.
- Limits
- Measures order, not clock time.

- Record up to 6 opportunities per session, matching the goal's denominator.
- Define in advance what counts as an opportunity so every data collector records the same thing.
- Count only + marks toward the criterion unless the goal specifies prompted responses.
