Move to the assigned position in unified games
When to use this goal
For students on a unified sports team (soccer, basketball, flag football) who wander, follow the ball everywhere, or stand still when play restarts. Holding a position is how players join team play. Fit depends on practice and game observation, not grade.
- Baseline
- Watch eight restarts per game for two games and score each. Note whether the student knows where the spot is; a short walk-through before the game may be the first step.
- Tips
- Score a restart as correct when the student reaches the position within about 10 seconds. Unified teammates can learn simple cues (pointing, calling the name). Positions near the action keep the game fun.
- Limits
- Game play is fast and observation can miss restarts; use a coach's tally.

- Record up to 8 opportunities per session, matching the goal's denominator.
- Define in advance what counts as an opportunity so every data collector records the same thing.
- Count only + marks toward the criterion unless the goal specifies prompted responses.
