Rotate through a unified practice drill set
When to use this goal
For students on unified teams who stay at one drill, leave practice, or stop between drills, so they get little practice. Moving through a drill rotation on the coach's signal is a basic athlete skill. Fit depends on practice observation, not grade.
- Baseline
- Score each of the four rotations per practice for two practices: moved and started the drill, moved but did not start, or stayed. Note which drills cause stops.
- Tips
- Number the stations so the order is clear. Unified partners model the drills naturally.
- Limits
- Does not measure drill skill quality; pair with sport-specific goals.

Goal
By the annual IEP review date, during a unified team practice with 4 drill stations and a rotation whistle, the student will complete the drill at each station and move to the next station on the whistle independently in 4 of 4 opportunities, across 3 consecutive practices, as measured by direct observation collected each station rotation at practice.

- Record up to 4 opportunities per session, matching the goal's denominator.
- Define in advance what counts as an opportunity so every data collector records the same thing.
- Count only + marks toward the criterion unless the goal specifies prompted responses.
