Name the training and requirements for a job

9-12Percent accuracyTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For high school students with job interests who do not know what it takes to get hired, such as a license, a certificate, a degree or a minimum age. Present levels in reading decide whether job profiles are read aloud or simplified.

Baseline
Give 4 job profiles with known answers. Score each requirement item (training level, license, minimum age, other) separately so you can see which kind the student misses.
Tips
Use jobs from the student's interest list. This goes beyond fn-tr-011 by focusing on the gate to the job, which leads into tn-ce-005 (comparing training paths).
Limits
Requirements vary by state and employer; check the key for the local area. Knowing a requirement is not a plan to meet it.

Goal

By the annual IEP review date, given one-page job profiles from a government career website, the student will identify the training level and other hiring requirements listed for each job independently with at least 85% accuracy on job requirement items, on 3 consecutive probes, as measured by work-sample analysis collected every two weeks.

Baseline: 40% accuracy.
