Transfer savings on each payday

9-12OpportunitiesTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For young adults with a job and a savings goal who mean to save but spend first. Measures the habit across paydays, after the transfer steps are learned. Present levels decide fit, not grade.

Baseline
Track 4 to 6 paydays. Score correct when the full planned amount is set aside within a day of payday without a reminder.
Tips
The student sets the amount and the goal. An automatic transfer the student sets up counts as meeting the goal.
Limits
Teaches a money skill; it does not recommend accounts, products, or financial choices, which belong to the student and family. Students on benefits may have savings limits; refer the family to a benefits counselor before setting large goals.
