Check the schedule and report to the station
When to use this goal
For students in a school-based work program with a posted schedule who wait to be told where to go each shift. Use present levels in reading a schedule (fn-fa-005) and in moving between locations to decide the schedule format.
- Baseline
- Record 5 work periods: did the student go to the correct station by the start time without being told? Include at least one day with a changed assignment, because a memorized station is not the skill.
- Tips
- Change assignments regularly so the student reads the schedule rather than relying on memory. Post the schedule where workers would see it (by the door, in a break room). Pair with fn-voc-002 for clocking in.
- Limits
- Only works with a real, posted schedule; programs that tell students where to go cannot measure this. Does not measure performance at the station.

- Record up to 5 opportunities per session, matching the goal's denominator.
- Define in advance what counts as an opportunity so every data collector records the same thing.
- Count only + marks toward the criterion unless the goal specifies prompted responses.
