Say no clearly to an unwanted request

9-12, 6-8OpportunitiesTemplateReview and individualize before use. How templates are made
When to use this goal

For students who agree to requests they do not want (lending money, doing favors, a hug, a ride) because they are unsure how to refuse. Present levels decide fit. The student's no is always valid.

Baseline
Use 8 role-plays with a range of requests. Score whether the student says no clearly and holds to it.
Tips
Include requests the student wants to say yes to so they practice choosing. Teach that no needs no reason.
Limits
Role-play is easier than real pressure. Exploitation needs adult follow-up through school procedures.
